Music Ministry News Fall 2024

Our parish choirs have begun rehearsals for the 2024-2025 season.

    Adult Choir rehearsals have begun. We practice Wednesdays at 7pm in the church. The Adult Choir sings at the 9am mass on the first, third, and occasional fifth Sunday of each month. There are no auditions - if you can sing on pitch, you are welcome to join.

      Youth Choir rehearsals have begun. We practice Thursdays at 4:30pm - 5:30 pm in the church. The Youth Choir sings at the 9am mass on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. The Saint Kateri Youth Choir provides an opportunity for young singers in grades 2nd through high school to learn proper and healthy singing technique, choral music reading skills, and the art of singing in harmony, all while giving praise to God. Please note that young children need to be able to read, sit for mass and pay attention during our weekly 1 hr. rehearsals.

      If you are in high school, parish choirs are great places for you to improve your sight-reading skills and be a leader. We can be flexible with your schedule, too, if you need that.
